The work of EUROCLASSICA - OMIRIKIS ACADEMY continues with boundless enthusiasm and dynamism for the seventeenth consecutive year in our country, focusing on Chios, the birthplace in the tradition of Homer.

The work of EUROCLASSICA - OMIRIKIS ACADEMY continues with boundless enthusiasm and dynamism for the seventeenth consecutive year in our country, focusing on Chios, the birthplace in the tradition of Homer. From 1997 began the work of this global annual literary session in Chios, until now, have been involved 3,500 regular delegates, excluding thousands of other listeners who want to enjoy the Homeric epics and indulge in Greek literature, language, history, culture, the timeless flow. And this year philhellenic stream like unrestrained torrent. Academics and university professors, PhDs, researchers, students and scholars of all disciplines, rushing back home, "to learn and learn from scholars." From England and America, from Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Italy, Venice, Switzerland, Holland, China, Syria, Turkey, Greece and of course everywhere.

Some prominent Hellenists will speak in flawless Greek language and give a summary of the speech in English, as he president Euroclassica, the great philellene Jose Luis Nanaro, who will close the work of this year's Congress. All speeches contained in the summary following program and course is open to the public. It is a great honor, joy and benefits not only to watch the people of Chios, but also to accompany this great organization from which seventeen years now Homeric letters, Chios and culture reach all over the world.
