Tigani beach is located 40 kms northwest by the city of Chios, close to the village of Sidirounta. It owes it's name to the characteristic shape of the bay that hosts it. It is relatively deserted, with tall pine trees, crystal clear and relatively cold blue waters and thin pebbles. It is offered for fishing and reef observation. Onto the top of the hill, just above the sea, dominates the newly rennovated vigla ( medieval watchtower ) of Pahi. It is worth to remain up until late in the evening at Tigani beach, just to enjoy a unique sunset, alongside with view of the historical island of Psara.
Tigani beach is not being served by a regular bus line.
